The equipment comes in a sturdy aluminium housing. The keyboard and display are on the front plate. It makes 2-, 3- and 4-wire connection possible on the back side.
Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni 100 or Ni 1000 can be selected by simple menu navigation. In addition, the selection of temperature scales ITS90 (DIN EN 60751) or IPTS 68 (DIN 43760) and two curves α = 0.385 (European) or α = 0.392 (US) is possible. After entry of the characteristic values the input of the temperature levels can be made very simply by the numeric keyboard. Presently set values are indicated in the display.
Relays with low thermovoltage and stable foil resistances with very small temperature coefficients are the heart of the simulator.
